2011 Great American Mock Trial Invitational

After barely a month of preparation, UW Mock Trial headed east for its first competition of the season – the Great American Mock Trial Invitational in Washington, DC. After a tough, season-opening loss to Washington & Lee, the Huskies went on to sweep their next round against Brown University on Saturday afternoon. On the second day of competition, UW split two close trials against Macalester and Northwood to finish with a .500 record at 6-6 overall, just shy of a top-ten finish at one of the country’s toughest tournaments.
